This picture of four generations enjoying Bonfire night in Lancashire is just prior to Maddy projectile vomiting all over the bedroom that we've placed her in.
And then we were three. But lest we forget what the early days with the bundle of noise and joy (but mostly noise) was like, we're writing it down. That way in later life, Madeleine can verify her early history and catch us out as we re-write it for our own ends, as parents are wont to do. Hang on a sec - so, whose idea was this?
